Considerations

Prior to
buying, booking and packing for your trip, it is highly recommended to research
the destination to learn of its culture, language, security and health issues
that are happening at the time. We must also consider the differences in their cultural perspectives and to our own. For example, we should consider their
traditional dress in order to not offend or if our clothes are suitable for the time that we are visiting the destination.
Language can be a huge barrier to everyone even if we are speaking to someone else with another first language background. It makes it difficult for us to understand the words and speech coming out of the other person’s mouth. We must learn what words are inappropriate and the different meanings for different words and the correct pronunciation.
Security measures in every country are every government’s top priority to prevent injury and harm to its citizens and that its security and safety measures must be of the most high standard and level. Before travelling and booking your flight and place of landing, the airport’s security levels and safety should be checked first. Some airports have frequent failures of removing weapons such as guns, drugs and illicit substances from foreigners bringing them in illegally.
Other security measures that should be taken into consideration are if there have been any recent attacks such as terrorist attacks, drug and alcohol issues, abuse and more. If these occur at the place of visit 2 weeks prior to the trip, it is recommended to cancel if possible and change the place of destination to elsewhere.
The outbreaks of highly contagious and deadly diseases such Ebola, Spanish flu, tuberculosis and MRSA can cause airports, educational facilities and public places to be shut down to prevent further outbreaks. It is important to visit a place healthy and being able to have fun. These diseases and others must be researched beforehand to see what possible diseases and sicknesses have been plaguing the country. If possible, choose another uninfected country to visit.
